GOT
QUESTIONS?
Everything you need to know before you ride with us — booking, payments, gear, and what to expect on the mountain. Can't find your answer? Email us and a host will sort you out.
FIRST THINGS
FIRST.
The questions almost everyone asks before they book their first trip with us.
Do I need experience?
No. We run trips for every level, from first-timers to experts. Just tell us where you're at when you book and your hosts will look after you on the right terrain.
How big are the groups?
Small and intimate — never a coach-load. Crews are capped (up to 25 riders) so plans stay flexible and you actually get to know the people you're riding with.
Where do you go?
We follow the snow — The deepest powder and the best resorts across Asia and beyond. Each trip page lists the destination, dates, and resort details.
LOCKING IN
YOUR SPOT.
How do I book? Pick a trip from the lineup and send a booking request. We confirm your spot once we've accepted the request and you've paid the full amount shown at checkout.
When should I book? Early. Groups are small and departures sell out — once a trip is full, it's full.
How do I pay? Payments are handled securely online through our payment provider (Stripe). We never store your full card details on our servers.
WHEN PLANS
CHANGE.
Can I change or cancel my booking? Yes — message us as early as you can and we'll do our best to help. Each trip has its own cancellation terms, shown on the trip page, and refunds depend on how far out you cancel and on costs already committed on your behalf.
What if Monster Tours changes the trip? Occasionally weather, snow conditions, or safety force a change to dates, itinerary, or destination. We always aim to offer a comparable alternative or, where that's not possible, a fair refund of recoverable costs.
What happens if there's no snow? We chase the best conditions and adjust plans on the ground — that flexibility is the whole point of riding with a small, community-hosted crew.
WHAT YOU
GET.
What's covered in the price? Each trip page lists exactly what's included — typically lodging, guiding/hosting, and selected extras. Read the inclusions on the trip you're eyeing before you book.
Are flights included? No. Flights to and from the destination are arranged and paid by you unless a trip page states otherwise.
Is travel insurance included? No — you'll need your own, and it's mandatory. Make sure it covers winter sports; full requirements are in our Terms & Conditions.
Are lift passes and rentals included? It varies by trip. Where they're not bundled, your hosts will point you to passes and rentals at the destination so it's sorted before you ride.
GETTING
READY.
Do I need my own gear? Not at all. We can point you to quality rentals at every destination, and the Snow Monster centre in Singapore can sort you out before you fly.
How fit do I need to be? Snowsports are physical, but trips are built around who's on them. If you can ride within your level and listen to your hosts, you'll be fine — and the indoor slope in Singapore is a great place to warm up first.
Can I train before the trip? Yes — Snow Monster runs Singapore's largest indoor snow centre, so you can get session-fit and dial in your turns before you even land in the mountains.
FIND YOUR
CREW.
Do I need to be a good rider? No — most departures run Riders and Progression crews side by side, and some welcome first-timers. Check the trip page for which crews are on each departure, or just ask us.
I ski, not snowboard — can I still join? 100%. Skiers are very welcome, and we have a full-time ski host on for the entire season, so you'll always have someone to ride the mountain with.
Can I come solo? Absolutely — most Monsters do. You'll arrive alone and leave with a crew.
Can I bring my kids? On family-designated trips like Zao, yes, with a parent or guardian along.
JUST ASK
A MONSTER.
If your question isn't here, email us. You'll talk to a real host who rides — not a ticket queue.
